We were happy to find such wonderful glass and porcelain and that all one needed was at hand in
the house. In the company of a swan down at the boat harbour of Skillinge we watched the big red
full moon of August rising out of the sea. Awesome! We have been shopping and enjoyed the fruit
products of Kiviks Musteri, and got a guided tour to the King's Grave at Kivik. We celebrated
birthday at Skillinge Hamnkrog on their tremendously delicious fish dishes and wine. One must
not leave out the Borrby beach, it is absolutely the best one! Wonderful the long walk along
the beach. Beside a visit to the castle of Glimmingehus, the stonesetting at Ales Stenar and
the smoked fish of Hammars Rökeri (very good herring sandwiches and shrimps), we recommend the
Book Café in Ystad (near the shopping lane). A Monastery of the Gray Friars is found there,
too. We paid a visit to the Church of S:t Olof where we went to the well and dropped a coin
for a wish come-true. On the beach of Stenshuvud we found amber. Well, the week has been full
